A Series of Ten Filtered Verticals

Aerial views of Hayle and surrounding areas, sourced from Google Earth.
Originals in the left column, followed by Photoshop-filtered iterations to clarify or distort shapes and lines.
Black-and-white cut-outs of the selected aerial shots, creating clear shapes from the topographical features and textures.
An initial graphical-audio test was to represent these monochromatic shapes using the free colour-note organ software Coagula, generating a tone-based sonic representation of my series of graphics. Incredibly simply: pitch/frequency = y-axis, time elapsed = x-axis (a few seconds each), black space = tone and white space = silence.
